Fish Redeemer was born from a deep understanding of the hardships and limitations faced by wheelchair-bound individuals and their families. Traditional fishing experiences often lack accessibility, preventing many from enjoying the simple pleasure of being on the water. Recognizing this gap, Fish Redeemer was created to provide inclusive, wheelchair accessible fishing boat trips, ensuring that everyone, regardless of mobility challenges, can experience the joy of fishing. With adaptive equipment, safe boarding, and a compassionate crew, our mission is to break down barriers and create unforgettable moments for individuals and their loved ones. Fish Redeemer isn’t just about fishing—it’s about restoring freedom, connection, and adventure to those who have often been left out of such experiences.
“Redeemer” departs from St. Jerome’s Creek at Taylor’s Cove Dock located at 49600 Freeman Road, Ridge, MD. The grounds and dock have been designed specifically for the needs and concerns for wheelchair bound guests. Grades and paths are graded and maintained for easy mobility. There is a shaded arbor located at the edge of the parking lot to provide a reprieve from the summer sun.
